Experienced Fitter Turners/CNC Operators Required

We have vacancies for Fitters & Turners as well as CNC Operators at a hi-tech manufacturing & engineering business.

Our client specialises in engineering automation, design and manufacturing. They started right here in Rural Kaiapoi New Zealand, over 30 years ago!

You’ll be part of a skilled team, working on:
• Manufacturing components according to specifications
• Manual machining of components including turning, milling, surface grinding, and welding
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring engineering specifications are incorporated into manufacturing processes, such as roughing operations, stress relieving, and heat treatments
• Carrying out machinery/equipment maintenance
• Working cross-functionally with our Assembly team

What we’re looking for:
• Has a relevant trade qualification (or time served equivalent)
• Experience with various metals
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to think on your feet
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
